Mom: Hyrum, do you remember our deal?

Hyrum (age 5): Yes, I won't hit people and you won't yell at me.

Mom: And what did you just do?

Hyrum: I hit Anna.

Mom: How do you think that makes Jesus feel?

Hyrum: Well, Jesus doesn't know, so he's not mad at me.

Mom: Jesus doesn't know?

Hyrum: No. He was sleeping when I hit Anna, so he didn't see me do that; but your yelling woke him up--so he knows that you broke your promise.
