I've taught for over 11 years and have never cried in front of the students during a lesson. Until today.

Bite My Shirt?
Anna was trying to bite Reed. Just as I was going to intercede, Reed grabbed a fold of his shirt, held it out to Anna, and pleaded: "Here, if you're gonna bite something. . .bite my shirt!"
What a great lesson in parenting. Don't just tell your child "No!", but give them an acceptable alternative. Thanks for the lesson, Reed.
