Photoshop is lots of fun, but digital photography will never have the aesthetic authenticity that film brings. For everything but action shots, I generally prefer B&W film.
jimmy jazz, I agree. I am never after "aesthetic authenticity" when using photoshop. Usually I'm chasing the "cool" factor, or the comedic one. For example, Anna and I had a lot of fun switching around all of our heads on our recent family portrait. I can't post it yet, though; the kids don't want that going public.
Anna was trying to bite Reed. Just as I was going to intercede, Reed grabbed a fold of his shirt, held it out to Anna, and pleaded: "Here, if you're gonna bite something. . .bite my shirt!"
What a great lesson in parenting. Don't just tell your child "No!", but give them an acceptable alternative. Thanks for the lesson, Reed.
I chose Reed's statement as the title of this blog because it represents this blog's purpose: To record teachable moments.
