One of our favorite things to do is visit grandma and grandpa and play in the park across the street. Been missing our cousins lately, usually they are there, too.
I can't believe how green it still is out there. Wow. Eventually I'll send you some pics of the classic NE fall foliage. It's like being in a Robert Frost poem.
Anna was trying to bite Reed. Just as I was going to intercede, Reed grabbed a fold of his shirt, held it out to Anna, and pleaded: "Here, if you're gonna bite something. . .bite my shirt!"
What a great lesson in parenting. Don't just tell your child "No!", but give them an acceptable alternative. Thanks for the lesson, Reed.
I chose Reed's statement as the title of this blog because it represents this blog's purpose: To record teachable moments.
