I asked my wife, "What should my post be about tonight?" and she replied, "the 50 things I like about my wife!" She was kidding, but here goes. . .
- Her chicken enchiladas
- her laugh, especially when it gets really late
- her devotion to our children
- her capacity for understanding others
- her even temper
- her kisses
- her devotion to her church service
- her thoughtfulness in approaching problems and assignments
- her taste in movies
- her patience with me (this one should count as ten!)
- her support in all I do
- her tireless service to her family
- her service to the community
- her chicken dumplings
- her homemade salsa
- when she plays the guitar
- when she sings
- her math skills
- that she handles the finances
- that she doesn't get mad at my spending habits
- that she always speaks in a quiet voice
- her smile
- that she bleeds blue like me
- her kindness to everyone
- that she is never sarcastic
- that she listens, and does not judge
- that she married me
- that she is my children's mom
- that she has a sweet tooth
- that she is wise in financial matters
- that she speaks kindly of others and attributes to others the best possible motive
- her giddiness when it gets really late
- watching What Not to Wear together and laughing at the make up lady who needs to be nominated for What Not to Wear
- her chicken stuffing casserole
- her mashed potatoes (she makes them way better than I, even though she likes instant better!)
- her patience with others
- that she is a cautious driver
- her taste in music
- that she seems to always know when I need a bowl of chocolate ice-cream
- her family heritage
- her unselfishness
- her love of basketball
- that she serves as my personal calendar, alarm clock, launderer, etc. etc. etc.
- her testimony of the gospel
- that she respects all people (children included)
- she served a mission
- she speaks polish
- her Oakcrest memories (that I share by proxy)
- when she irons my clothes the times I feel lazy in the morning
and the major reason that I married her. . . - Her devotion to God.
She fell asleep before I started this list. This sure was fun and I am so blessed and feel extremely happy to have my wife and children. This exercise has also increased my desire to improve in my personal righteousness so that I can serve others (especially my family) more faithfully.

You're getting all fancy with your blog! I like that moving title.
I think your wife is pretty great, too!
Mary
It's amazing how we feel when we take the time to consider and value the positive traits and abilities of others. I think so often it's "natural" to be selfish and close-minded to what a blessing other people are in our life. Good post.
